Designed to create a softer and more comfortable everyday rest space for dogs, the Peppa mat combines supportive orthopaedic foam with practical features for real life with dogs. Two removable washable covers in sage and grey make it easy to refresh your space, while the waterproof liner helps protect the foam from accidents and spills during puppy training and everyday use. A non-slip base helps keep the mat securely in place within crates and pens, and the thoughtfully designed sizing fits seamlessly within Teddy crates as well as standard Kmart medium and XL wire crates, making it the perfect companion for Busta crate covers or a comfortable rest space within the Buddy pen.

We work with courier partners to provide the most efficient delivery service with the most reasonable price Deliveries are to street addresses only, so be sure to accurately enter your home or work address so your order is delivered as quickly as possible.
PACKAGING
We aim to minimise the impact of our products on the environment, and so the packaging we use to keep your order secure and in pristine condition has beenĀ carefully considered. Wherever possible we have used upcycled, compostable and/or recyclable materials.Ā
Returns
If you are not satisfied with your products, we offer a full refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase, provided the products are unused and undamaged. For the avoidance of doubt, assembled furniture pieces are granted as used. It is important to make sure dimensions will suit your space before purchase. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping and assume any risk of lost, stolen or damaged goods during transit.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging including clear protective coating for furniture pieces and vacuum sealed plastic for mattresses.
We will notify you once weāve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, youāll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
To start a return, you can contact us atĀ bestfriends@thepawsroom.com.au. If your return is accepted, weāll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Please note that custom and international orders are not eligible for refund or exchange.
Damages and issues
For orders placed within Australia, please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please remember returns on the basis of markings in the plywood will not be accepted - this is it's natural beauty!
For international orders, unfortunately we cannot grant the returns stated above at this stage.

Why we started The Paws Room
Like many dog owners, we wanted the benefits of crate training without a bulky wire crate dominating our living space. We knew dogs thrive when they have a space of their own, but struggled to find options that felt right for both dogs and homes.

Teddy was designed for modern family homes. Unlike traditional swing doors, Teddy's removable sliding acrylic doors don't protrude into the room when open, helping reduce trip hazards around busy walkways. Rounded timber corners, discrete timber locks and smooth furniture-grade finishes also make Teddy a practical choice for homes shared with children and dogs. As with any piece of furniture or pet product, young children should always be supervised around pets.
We generally dispatch within 2 business days, with delivery taking around 2ā5 business days depending on where you live. If you're counting down the days until your puppy comes home, we'd suggest ordering at least 10 days in advance so their special space is ready and waiting when they arrive.
