Make feeding part of their happy place.
Make feeding part of their happy place.
The floating design keeps food or water off the floor, leaving more room for your dog to stretch out and settle, while letting you position their bowl at a comfortable height for eating and drinking.
When securely mounted inside their crate or playpen, Nook keeps the bowl where it belongs, helping prevent tipping, spills and soggy bedding.
Use the bowl on its own, add the tray for an elevated feeding station, or attach the complete Nook to a crate or playpen. One feeding system adapts as your needs change, rather than being designed for just one place.
Clear acrylic keeps the feeding station visually light, while the oat powder-coated stainless steel bowl is designed to sit comfortably alongside your furniture, crate and everyday living spaces.
We wanted our dogs’ crates to be one of their favourite places at home. Food has always been a powerful way to create that positive association. So we created Nook to make feeding in the crate easier, cleaner and more considered. And because good design should be versatile, it works beautifully outside the crate too.

FAQs For Nook No Tip Crate Station
Yes. Nook is designed to do more than attach to a crate. Place the bowl in the clear acrylic tray to create a raised dog feeder for everyday food or water, or use the stainless steel bowl on its own.
The raised tray helps contain everyday spills and keeps the bowl and food off the floor, which can also help protect food from crawling insects such as ants. When you need it inside a crate or playpen, the same tray simply drops into the Nook Dock to create a floating feeding station.
Yes. Nook isn't fixed at one feeding height. The Dock can be positioned at different heights wherever there are suitable slots or gaps in a compatible crate or playpen, allowing you to choose a comfortable position for your dog. Because every crate and pen is constructed differently, available mounting positions will vary.
The Nook Dock attaches through suitable slots or gaps in the side or back of wire crates, as well as common furniture-style dog crates and playpens.
Once the Dock is secured, the clear acrylic tray simply drops into place. There’s no need to permanently attach the tray or bowl, so you can lift the tray out whenever you want to fill, clean or remove it. The stainless steel bowl then drops neatly into the tray.
This modular design means the Dock can stay in place while the feeding station comes and goes as you need it.
Floor bowls take up valuable room and can be tipped, pushed around or spilled onto bedding. Nook lifts the bowl off the crate or playpen floor, leaving more room for your dog to stretch out and settle while helping keep water where it belongs: in the bowl, not the bedding.
You can also position Nook at a comfortable height for your dog rather than being limited to a bowl sitting directly on the floor.
Absolutely. Nook makes it easy to use mealtimes as part of your dog’s crate routine, while minimising mess.
Feeding in or around the crate is commonly used as part of positive crate training because it can help your dog associate their crate with good things
Simply drop the tray and bowl onto the Dock for breakfast or dinner, then lift the tray away when mealtime is finished. For dogs who have water available in their crate, Nook can also be used as a floating water bowl.
For puppies, however, overnight water routines should be based on their individual toilet-training needs and your vet or trainer’s advice.
Nook’s Dock and Tray are made from substantial 6 mm clear acrylic, creating a sturdy feeding station while keeping the design beautifully minimal.
When floating, however, Nook is only as stable as the structure it’s attached to. On rigid furniture-style crates and sturdy wire crates or playpens, it provides a secure platform for food or water. Very lightweight or flexible wire panels may flex under the weight of a full water bowl, so we recommend checking the stability of your crate or pen and choosing a suitable mounting position.
Nook is designed to help reduce tipping and spills, rather than guarantee a completely spill-proof setup, particularly for dogs who deliberately paw at, play with or tip their bowls.
Nook was designed to work with the setup you already have, rather than requiring you to buy a particular crate.
The Dock can attach through suitable slots or gaps in many wire dog crates, furniture-style dog crates and playpens, as well as The Paws Room Teddy crate and Buddy playpen.
Nook is compatible with Kmart pet folding wire crates and Kmart furniture-style crates and playpens.
Yes. Easy everyday cleaning was part of the design.
The bowl simply lifts out of the tray and is dishwasher friendly. The acrylic tray can be removed from the Dock and wiped clean with a soft microfibre cloth. You don't need to remove the Dock from the crate to refill the bowl or clean the feeding area.
We hope so. Nook is launching in Australia first, but it has been designed with dogs and their spaces everywhere in mind. If you’re outside Australia and would love a Nook, join the waitlist and let us know where you’re located. International demand will help us decide where Nook goes next.
