Absolutely. Teddy is designed to grow with your dog. For dog breeds that will grow into much larger adults, many families start with an optional divider to create a smaller sleeping area for toilet training, then expand the space as their puppy grows. Optional acrylic puppy-proofing side guards can also reduce the spacing between the side panels for young puppies while helping protect the timber during teething.
When introduced positively and used appropriately, many dogs benefit from having a calm, secure space of their own.

Puppies chew. Shoes, paper, lego and yes, even furniture! DogsĀ start teething when they areĀ a few months old and this went on with our dogs until they were about 18 months old (especially when they got bored or anxious).Ā
We recommend using the puppy proof side guards with Teddy, especially for young dogs and chewers, to protect the premium plywood from sharp teeth.
Dedicated enrichment toys can help (for example our Pebble enrichment toy or Twirl lick mat).
